Allain was born in Sydney and lived there for more than 10 years,
Canberra and Brisbane have also been home.
Before DesignLanguage, Allain
was in the media industry, Breakfast radio and Production were his
passions, but as anyone in the industry can attest, you have to be a
jack-of-all-trades... So Allain also drove promotional vehicles, MC'ed,
Base Jumped (although, it was only 2 metres!) Sold Airtime, been the
Voice Over Guy and even fixed one radio stations coffee machine, which
was spitting out some ugly, smelling black sludge - Anyone want a latte?
Allain now lives as close to
Brisbane city without actually touching it and loves to be able to go
out and fill his memory card with interesting images - Allain is also looking at
creating a photo book of Southeast Queensland.

"I started DL because I couldn't get answers to questions I was asking
as a small business owner. Everyone was willing to give me advice, as
long as it was their way - nobody looked at how I was running the show."
Allain likes animals, but only if he
can hand them back, he wants to give back to the community, by giving
group's a opportunity to promote themselves.

Sean is a born and bred Brisbane
boy, moving three times in his life (twice to places
in the same street!).
Sean
has four great loves... One is surfing, he tries to
head out at least once a month. His favourite
spot is Venus Bay and Port Lincoln near the Great
Australian Bight.
Sean also loves heading to Luna Park in Melbourne... Like
Allain, Sean is a huge rollercoaster nut - both guys have
made a pact to go to
Cedar Point Amusement park
in Ohio and ride every rollercoaster there. (They have more
than 17
rollercoaster's!)
Third on Sean's list is LOUD music, when Sean and Geoff get
together, you can almost bet it'll be at one of the many
pubs along King st in Newtown.
Sean's number
four is Beer. A self proclaimed Beerologist,
Sean claims that he can tell where a beer was brewed just by
the taste... We don't believe him, so he's willing to prove
us wrong by trying as many beers as time will allow in his
lifetime!

What can we say about Geoff that won't end up with a photo
of him on a table singing something from Cold Chisel...
DesignLanguage's current Karaoke champion (Geoff won by
default as nobody else would touch the microphone!) he love's 80's
Aussie rock... Chisel, Mondo Rock, Acca Dacca and more...
Now we could let you all have a listen to Geoff banging out
a melody or two, but we value our clients too much (and we
really, really don't want to hear him sing again - therapy
costs alot you know!)
Geoff is our Data
Centre Specialist, when you sign up for web hosting, it's
Geoff who goes into battlemode (his words!) to find
you the best position on the server.
When we first met Geoff, he was
wearing a bright blue pullover, so we had to give him wakeupgeoff as an e-mail account!
(Yes, we know Jeff wears
purple!)
Geoff was born in Melbourne, but
raised for most of his childhood in Ikeda near Osaka, Japan.
Geoff returned to Australia
because he loves a BBQ and lots of crackling atop his
roast pork
sandwich! |
